One solution is to eliminate the current system of taxation. There are nearly 17,000 pages of tax code. It is so convoluted and un-decipherable that even those that write it (New York Congressman Charles Rangel) can’t or won’t follow it. If those in charge of collecting our taxes (Timothy Geithner United States Secretary Of Treasury) don’t pay in proper fashion, why do they demand we do? Isn’t that hypocritical? Unfortunately, in the tax code is the power of political ambition. If a politician can add or subtract from those 100,000 pages, he can obtain both votes and political contributions. The income tax system is the ultimate tool to manipulate the masses with.
