Hey — I sell products that some payment gateways consider higher-risk but are fully legal (e.g. supplements, digital tools). Which payment systems handled risk-yet-legit stores without shutting us down?

In that situation I went with a SaaS PSP known to support merchants in non-standard niches. What to check: their underwriting process, how transparent they are about risk, and whether they allow your product category. It’s also essential they support chargeback handling and percentage-based reserves if needed. I asked directly about their policy, tested low-volume processing first, and kept good documentation. That way we avoided sudden shutdowns or frozen funds.
