One of the immediate immigration issues that we, in the United States, face is DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

This program was created by President Obama for these young individuals, also known as Dreamer, through an executive order in June 2012. There are more than 600,000 dreamers in this country and DACA under the present administration this program is being challenged.

On June 18, 2020, issued a temporary decision on DACA but such decision did not give a finality to the program. In July, a memorandum from the US Department of Homeland Security issues a memorandum limiting the renewal of DACA to only a year.
