Learn more about the work and articulation of the Franciscan Network for Migrants, an initiative inspired by the Franciscan charism and nurtured by the teaching of Pope Francis.
With great joy and hope we share with all of you, our faithful readers, the 2021 Annual Report of the Franciscan Network for Migrants. We are a nascent organization that has emerged from the commitment of franciscan people who are working, accompanying, and living in the middle of the migratory routes of the Americas. In the midst of daily tasks, we summon ourselves to weave this network that embodies one of the most genuine expressions of the franciscan charism: fraternity.
“As the Franciscan Network for Migrants, we continue serving as a small humanitarian space that is responsible for providing food, lodging, medical care and mental health services. We aim to continue guiding and providing the necessary accompaniment to victims of crimes and monitoring the process of those who request protection. We will continue with our work of monitoring and documenting the violation of human rights on migration routes as well.“
