On November 3, 2022, a group of more than 20 people will gather at the El Paso\/Juarez border for a weekend of witness, reflection, learning, and encounter with our migrant brothers and sisters.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The highlight of the experience is sure to be the Border Mass, celebrated on both sides of the US\/Mexican border by the bishops of El Paso, Las Cruces, and Juarez as a sign of solidarity and friendship. In addition to attending the mass, the Franciscan Network for Migrants–USA Team is partnering with organizations in the three cities to learn and gain a deeper understanding of the humanitarian crisis. These organizations include Casa Vides of Annunciation House, Border Service Corps, Opportunity Center, <\/span>Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center, Hope Border Institute, Paso del Norte Center of Hope, Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, \u00a0Holy Cross Retreat Center,\u00a0 “Kiki Romero” Municipal Shelter, and Casa Eudes Shelter. In Juarez, we are pleased to be joined by Vianey Martinez Lopez from the RFM Secretariat, and Beatriz Calixto Toxqui, from the RFM-Mexico Team and Advocacy Committee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
